Our good friend Neil (dad to Zoe and more recently, Ingrid) is a firefighter. Which is totally cool. Especially now that Eloise is obsessed with fire trucks!

Easter!

(a little behind in posting, I realize...)
Eloise's first participatory Easter Egg Hunt! We had 2 - a practice run and then the real deal. We went to the Zoo's Easter Egg Hunte with Margo, Neil, Zoe, Ingrid and Gramma. Eloise got the idea after another little girl started putting eggs in Eloise's basket. The next day however, we were invited to brunch with Sarah and Stefan's family in Bellingham, and there she participated in a REAL hunt where the eggs were hidden! She really got into it then, crouching down to get the egg hidden under a leaf and walking around the garden saying "encore z-oeufs, encore z-oeufs!" (more eggs, more eggs). On the way home she was so pooped she fell asleep with a mouthful of banana dangling from her lips!
