Eloise at Home

Taking Eloise home brought on a whole series of new adventures. We spent the first few weeks getting to know her and figuring out how to bring her into our life. Every outing was an exciting challenge!

Obama for President!

We were extremely proud to contribute to 2008's historic presidential election! Eloise came along to vote with us, sporting an Obama onesie hidden under layers of clothes, so as not to get us in trouble with the election monitors. We can't wait to tell her about this historic event.

Rock the vote!

Eloise's First Days

We had tons of visitors for Eloise's first few days at the hospital and at home. We are so lucky to have so many wonderful people in our lives to welcome Eloise into the world!

Éloïse is Here!

Celia's birthday present: Eloise Corinne Beasley Taylor

Our little Eloise arrived 1 hour and 45 minute's into Celia's birthday. After a whopping 40 hours of labor, she was delivered via C-section. We soon found out why she would not come out on her own: she weighs an impressive 9 lbs. 2 oz and measures 21 inches.

Celia was an incredible trooper over the course of the 3 days that the labor spanned. I am so amazed at her strength and determination, but I'll let her tell her labor story in her own words.
