Kites!

Today, Eloise and I went to Gas Works Park to see an installation of 121 kites flown simultaneously! It was very cool and Eloise liked it! For me, it was reminiscent of the very first video I made, which featured kites flying at the very same park, about 8 years ago!

Crawling!

Thursday, August 27, was a big day for Eloise! That day she crawled on all fours (like a crab, apparently just as her dad did when he was a baby!), pulled herself up without help and stood unassisted (for just a few seconds, but still). In the next few days she perfected the crawl, now pulls herself to a stand in no time, and is working on her standing balance - sometimes just holding onto the end of a shirt between 2 fingers!

Oysterville!

Last month took us to Oysterville with friends, where we had delicious Indian food, oysters on the barbie, pies and lots of fun! Thanks to the Hook-Roncos for hosting such a great weekend!
